Run single-handedly by Aneeta Patel since 2006, Knitting SOS began as a free emergency helpline for knitters stuck on a project, born from her belief that a small nudge at the right moment keeps people knitting rather than giving up in frustration. It's since grown into regular beginner and project-based classes held around London, with small-group sessions typically running two hours and including basic materials for newcomers.
